Notarial - Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage (CNI)

You should confirm with your Marriage Celebrant whether you require this certificate.

If you need evidence of Single Status, you need to apply through the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages of your home state in Australia:

For a CNI, you need to submit evidence to the Embassy of both your and your fiancé's / fiancée's current name - either original documents, or certified copies. You can use passports or driving licences.
